The Alternis Fund

The Alternis Fund aims to provide South African Rand investors with an investment return that is uncorrelated and independent from the performance of global and local listed equity markets.

The Alternis Fund combines the returns from offshore investments with Currency Futures contracts to generate consistent, positive and predictable ZAR returns for investors.

Returns are generated through exposure to a combination of local and offshore investments, including Private Debt, while hedging out any currency risks by using the forward currency market.

This fund aims to achieve an annualised return of 10%-12% over a 4-year rolling period.
