Skybound’s investment strategy aims to provide investors with diversified, global exposure to private markets.
Skybound Capital uses the umbrella-term ‘Private Markets’ to describe their investments in the underlying asset classes of:
Debt, debt-equity, equity in privately-owned companies, real estate, trade finance and impact investments.
Private capital refers to funds belonging to private investors rather than banks, government entities or stock exchanges that are provided to businesses as loans or equity investments.
Skybound Capital’s funds offer exposure to asset classes with more attractive risk-return profiles relative to comparable public market opportunities. These asset classes provide protection from market noise, with low correlation to traditional assets such as listed stocks and bonds.
In so doing, we aim to provide investors with investment opportunities that provide downside protection and return generation.
OUR FUNDS
PRISM SUITE OF FUNDS
Primarily developed as private debt funds, the Prism Suite of Funds engage in specialised financing across various asset classes. The Prism Income Fund, established in August 2009, boasts a 15-year track record of delivering consistent and stable returns to investors since its inception.
WILLOW TREE
The Willow Tree Fund consists of bespoke holdings in global equity and private market investments. It strategically blends asset classes, geographies, currencies, and industries to drive strong, long-term risk- adjusted returns.
MERCADOX FUND
The Mercadox Fund seeks to deliver a non-correlated return by focusing on short-term opportunities in commodity-based and structured trade finance transactions, prioritising secure and liquid transactions aligned with the Fund’s objectives. Trade Finance includes activities like structured commodity trade financing, invoice financing, and funding shorter-term receivables.
SB MONEY MARKET FUND
The Fisc Money Market Fund aims to offer investors a liquid investment choice that seeks to preserve capital while providing competitive returns. The Fund’s return profile targets a return of within 100 basis points of the US Federal Funds Rate.
